2020 was a strange year for advertising. While most brands pulled their advertising budgets back completely, grocery brands like Metro were booming. In that year we launched their brand new Locally Sourced program and video series, a summer campaign, a holiday campaign and their My Health My Choices program to allow customers to shop smarter.
Metro's Locally Sourced program partners with small vendors across Ontario and sells their products in-store to give customers the opportunity to shop local even when they are doing their weekly grocery run.

In times of uncertainty, the goal of the Here For You summer campaign of 2020 was to highlight how Metro is supporting local vendors from meat, cheese, produce, and more.
Like No Other Holiday
The holiday season of 2020 was like no other. Rather than hosting office parties, and large family dinners — we were working from home and cooking meals for less. But not even a worldwide pandemic could keep people apart, we launched a campaign celebrating all the ways we were able to stick together while still being apart during the holiday season.

My Health, My Choices was created in collaboration with nutritionists and arms customers with the knowledge of what benefits or attributes the products they are buying have.
